I'm going to at least make the meeting on 8/3. If I can swing the 28th too, I'll be there as well.
The enviros are trying to rally their troops. We need to do the same. From what I understand, the proposed LJ MPA in Lapis 1 does not meet the minimum size requirements of 9 square miles, meaning that if the finalized proposal has a LJ MPA in it, the red area will be bigger. If we don't show up and fight for LJ, expect it to be gone forever.

If you are perfectly content having fishing the bays for spotties as your only option for kayak fishing in San Diego County, feel free to sit around and do nothing....
