Jim's new ride / S.M. Bay Bass 1-21

Met up with Jim Day on the water today. He was out on the first fishing voyage of his new kayak.

The conditions were pretty tough today...

One on the bait and one on the plastic!

The Bass fishing was WFO all you wanted Sand Bass! Not one short and lots over 3#. They bit the Sardines and the plastic as soon as it got near the bottom. The wind shifted around about 4 times today but it was a fish every drop when you could reset on the spot. I kept 5 deep hooked ones for fish tacos and released a lot of lucky Sandies and one big Calico.
As usual, it was fun fishing with you today Jim!
