JimmyZ, where are you allowed to park overnight at Shelter Island? I've checked it out the last time I was there but everything that I saw says no overnight parking. Is there someone to park a 25' trailer overnight legally?

What stops trucks from launching their boats at 10 P.M. and coming back the next day? I slept in my truck and there were others there also. I'm not sure about legal places to park other than camp sites.

Well our boat took a crap today so as of now we are now 2 kayak entries. Hopefully we can get it fixed but if not at least we're still fishing. I'll try and contribute something for breakfast but don't know what. Good luck to everyone!

The weather for this weekend is changing constantly. Hopefully the rain will stay away!

What would you guess is our headcount? I'm sizing up our caffeine/sugar requirements.

Kayak division will likely be 25-35, breakfast is pot luck with only 5 of us showing interest, so bringing stuff for up to 10 people should work.

Do we still want to do the Potluck with he rain that seems to be here? It could be messy and without a way to heat things up? Let me know, I could prep my part here at home and keep it warm until morning.

I was going to cook my stuff at home and keep it warmed, but if we could get someone with a camping stove or something it might be better to cook it there. I was going to try cooking on my BBQ but I don't think that would work well enough.

Looking forward to actually having coffee and donuts with everyone next year!

Hopefully we won't have pea soup fog at start time again.

Good , I am going to try and make it.

If I make it in, I have a 3 burner colman stove I can bring, I will try and get down the night before.

Having that stove last year would have been wonderful.

I think this year I'll do some sort of breakfast Hash thing. The Chorizo was a little strong for being on a Kayak all day.

Hey quick question, I'm paid and confirmed via phone call, but do I need a registration number to check in that morning? I'll bring some croissants as well

If I remember correctly when you check in they will have your number and lunch ticket and everything for you there.

Stove is 100% confirmed right? If that's the case, I can do the cooking right there, I've already got something in the plans for making that I'm sure everyone would love.
