SD Bay 7-21

Fished LJ Thurs. AM and it was slow so decided to hit SD Bay this morning for a change of pace, there was a decent incoming tide, so my plan was to hit up the bait barge for some sardines and head out the mouth of the bay, then drift my way back in looking for flatties. Well, the first sardine I sent down produced a 28", 8 lb 3 oz. halibut, won't get me any points, but dinner is served.

I Continued to drift my way in for a couple of raked baits and a guitar shark which had me thinking it was another halibut until it came to color.
