Got out about 3 pm on Sunday, had it basically to myself once the New Seaforth left. Bait was thankfully easy to catch outside the reserve, a mix of small spanish and greenbacks. Dragged one high and one low for 4 hours between 40-100 ft of water; the drift was SE. Only bicatch today: 1 small cuda, 1 small bass both on krocodile and a nice 4 lb calico on spanish on the bottom. Worked with a dropper loop out there for basically the first time although I have used it in other spheres. It got all twirled up late in the day after a bait died (presumably). Considering the Carolina rig or a 3 way swivel next time. Looking forward to learning!
