Usually.


I've caught white seabass without them and with canines.



I've caught corvina without canines, and with other WSB type indicators (can't recall at the moment if I've seen them with bars yet).


Either way, there's a lot of variation between them and they can be easily confused.




The sure way to tell them apart is the zipper on the belly. WSB have them every time, and Shortfin never have them.
