Which SDHP station is that? It's not the one all the way inside the bay is it? I've been looking for somewhere to launch off of rosecrans near the sub base...just haven't gotten my butt down there to scope it out yet. |

The Fish N Chip does not cover all inshore areas at 1 foot contours unfortunately. Dana Pt. is an example of an area that does not have the 1 foot contours, I think they are like every 6 feet of depth. Not sure what their rhyme or reason is cause they do have them for San Onofre?

About 2 miles? I usually only fish that spot or the point when I can ride a good outgoing.

What is extremely cool is a good friend of mine just bough a condo in that photo and has not moved in yet. I will be launching from there quite a bit in the very near future.
I am trying to talk him and his wife on getting kayaks and they say they will. Once he has a kayak, converting him into a kayak fisher should be easy |
