Construction Update LJ - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Just got this update from the city, I'm not familiar with access and parking down by the la jolla launch but thought i'd pass it on just the same.

Beginning March 9, Phase 1 work on Avenida De La Playa will begin. Avenida De La Playa between El Paseo Grande and Paseo del Ocaso will be closed 24-hours a day for four weeks. The closure could be extended if more construction days are lost to rain. Please note that during the 24-hour closure period the sidewalks will remain open so access to the businesses is maintained. In addition, four "Businesses are Open During Construction" signs will be placed in key high-traffic areas.

For Phase 2, 24-hour closure for Avenida De La Playa will be between Paseo del Ocaso and La Jolla Shores Drive. This was scheduled to occur between March 30 and April 17 but will likely be adjusted due to the current sewer lateral installation. Also, rain will affect the construction schedule.
