8/2 LJ who you callin cracker?

Got one to help ameliorate the sting of the larger more deluxe unit that I lost at gaff earlier. Variable winds but mostly light from the west, light crowd, and still nice deep blue water that I'd guess was around 70-71.

Both fish hit 10 inch greenies. The first fish hit in pretty close, due west of the point, before pt loma was visible, and the fish that I actually landed was found in about 80ft straight out from the high rise - I saw a guy go big bendo about 200 yards off in the direction I was heading, so I scooted out to where he hooked up(he was off on a bit of a ride), first cast of the iron got a big bump, and then the flyline went off.........played him nice and gentle, and mine went just under 10, his was looking mid-teens......Stoked!

Cuda were thick, load your tanks with bait!

Ain't spittin that hook!
