Tidelands 1/19

Pretty much all you can catch..

Fished 3in grub and 3.5" grub, i poured them up in rootbeer with red and gold flake and chartreuse. Both worked equally well. Ended with 27 spotties, 8 lizards, 1 sandbass and 2 really short halibut. No monsters..

So you PRE-FISHED for the Rady's event on the 25th? Sounds like you have it dialed in. See you there.

My six year old and I fished our kayaks tethered in Tidelands on the 19th, awesome day. He caught 4 fish and was extremely happy. He got to see me gaff someone else's trophy fish. In fact it is the largest fish I have seen caught in front of me in my life and I got to gaff it. My 6 year old son watched the whole process in amazement. An awesome day for sure.

Where are you catching these spotties at exactly. I did we'll be the beach across the launch at glorietta catching maybe 3-4 in a day. Now I feel like I got shafted. I fish a krocodile mostly or some swim baits same as I would for LMB.
