Less than 60 days out, lets get ready to make this the best trip of your life. Order your tackle NOW, been a good year and some tackle is out of stock so get it on order or find replacements for it soon. Get your camp rite and set it up, find a pad for it, sleep on it for a night or two, make sure it feels good.
Check your drags, get reels serviced, get organized. Get replacement parts for yak, check everything. Almost impossible to get things in Gonzaga. Tight lines.

Starting to fall sleep at night dreaming of the trip. Visualizing from loading the truck at Bob’s house to unloading on the way back. Already started a list of what to take, and making steel leaders!fficeffice" />>>
>>
A couple of more questions: >>
Q: Are sharks and or Sea lions much of problem with regards to keeping the catch in the water with a game clip?>>
>>
Q: Bob, does your new truck have a rack to carry the kayaks on top, or will they travel in the bed of the truck?>>

I will add them (plus answers) to the previous post of several questions.
>>

A humble request---- can the real name of the anglers who are going be posted next to their web name?>>

Hashem--- AKA Mahigeer is going. YES,YES, and YES. I will also pay for a meal at the restaurant.
>>

P.S. I was looking for old reports about similar trips and found this thread:

http://www.bigwatersedge.com/bwevb/s...onzaga+reports

However, all of the pictures are gone. Any chance to re-post the pictures?

Thanks>>

Hashem, yes there are sharks and Sea lions in the area. I store my fish on back deck covered by a wet towel or gunny sack. I learned YEARS AGO not to put them over the side. NIGHTMARES. Yes I have a rack on my truck.
BTW I dream of Baja most nights, it is food for the soul, almost like being in church or on the water.

Thanks Bob.

Before I went to my first GTG at Avalon in 2006, to meet and fish with a group of anglers that I met on line, I could not sleep for two nights.

I still get excited when I decide to go, but not as much. I will be there this weekend for two days and one night of non-stop fishing at the Cabrillo Mole.

Roberto, I'm going to pay the restaurant for dinner, you sold me on supporting the local business. Buddha, thanks for the kind offer to cook on my dinner night, but paying the restaurant seems like the way to go for me

Thanks Bob, Udowinkler.

The list is still a work in progress.

I added tea/coffee/creamer and prescription medicine to the original post/list.
