I was next to them alot and I saw some cuda and maybe bonito. I saw three YT on yaks today. I saw nothing on the the New Seaforth in the way of YT. Or any other boat for that matter. Nothing on the radio. I thnk there was even a Plastic Navy tourney going on so lots ore hooks in the water than usual. Cuda were wide open on little irons.

YT in LJ

Hi all,

Why sometimes YT show during the afternoon? Really hard to get them in the morning. Any info will help. I went out Sat morning, didn't have any luck, but friend of mine, get out in the afternoon and later he got couple of them. Size was OK, I would call it BIG YT. But hey, YT is YT right? Peace to all.

X

YT like to use the bright sun to their advantage as well as sloppier conditions

Believe it or not, mornings or afternoons yellows can be caught. Makes no difference, unless you want to factor in water temp, tidal move'mt,moon phase, thermoclines, current, wind direction, cloud cover,sunlight,etc.. Sometimes knowlege is a greater factor than luck....

It wasn't a matter of whether or not that many yellows could be caught. It was just that I didn't really see that much yellow activity, so I was hoping for a little verification.
