No - my friend Jimi was with me. He held on to the tail as we SLOWLY brought him out of the water in his catatonic state. Gave him a bear hug and a lasso around the neck. I forgot how good they taste... Excellent eating fish.

Still kickin, just quietly. Sorry for missing my first Steve Moyer tournament this last year - unfortunately had to leave town. Notice picture below - I still sport every years t-shirt when i go fishing. How have you been Matt? I am going out tomorrow with a buddy of mine if you can join, or are you only mondays? We have a hankering for some WSB

BTW, I was straddling it because it was still very much alive

Shit...You got skinny. I've been good. I'm going to see Dane Cook with the wifey tomorrow night so no fishing for me. I think I'm going to hit it up Sunday Morning. Our paths will cross soon. WTG on the T-Shark...Better shirt.

Yes, I went in to and out of my Fat Elvis period of my life. Secret? - I all but gave up beer and replaced it with Whiskey, Tequila and Vodka

Catch you later

Hey everyone! I think what Tyler is saying is that if you don't make an effort to make these meetings, all these super fishy days in LJ are history. Make an effort now so that we can fish it later. See you at the next meeting June 4th.

WSB are 1 per day right now. My personal opinion on T-Sharks is one per year.

Hefty T... Nice work. What's up with Jimi? Is he still making jigs?

As far as attending the June 4th meeting, I'll put in another request tomorrow at work. If they allow it, I'm in.

Damn, Pat towers over Vito... I'm just sayin'. But, then again I think he towers over everyone...

DFG allows 2 T Sharks per season but would agree with Moyer about the 1. I came away with well over 50 pound's of meat and cant imagine having any more, anytime soon. Dennis, Jimi is getting help from another friend of ours on the JimiJigs. They are in the middle of coming up with another mold. If you want to get in touch with him PM me. BTW, today I happened upon a kayaker with one of these on board..

nice catch. gotta love hauling in a fish that is literally heavier than your boat

whats your guys opinion on the size of t sharks should be kept. I hooked two last sunday, one was around 100lbs but it bit through the 25lb i was fishing. The second one was estimated around 60lbs and thought about keeping it, however it was mouth hooked and looking healthy so I was able to remove the hook and let it fight another day.

I have yet to keep a thresher shark Ive landed, but thats not because I dont want to. theyre delicious! theyve all been relatively small. but much over 100 is preaty difficult to manage from a yak.

Would that 60 lber be too small?
