Newport Rocks 4/23/16

I wish I had more to report, but yesterday just didn't produce much for me. Got a red, sculpin, whitefish, and all you can catch white croaker, sand dabs, and giant lizards. Got a couple meals though.

How do you guys like to fish the area? I was literally drifting around at different zones at 10' increments ranging from 140-250'. Managed the red thanks to couple of guys on PAs pointing to me the right depth. Thanks again if you're reading this!

The winds weren't too bad either. It never peaked over 10 I believe until after I got off the water at 2. At one point it even went flat at noon. The swells though were a different story.
