LJ 6/27AM

I fished it this morning. WFO greenies, spanish under the lights and wild weather including wind, bump, rain, thunder and lightning.

Got picked up twice by fish with commitment issues. One crushed on the bottom, another raked on the bottom......and yes, the water really is 61 Degrees!!!

The entire fleet bolted for shore when the wind went from 0-15mph in one minute and the lightning seemed to move closer to the water.

Sounds a bit scary! What is up with this weather / water temps??? Guess I understand now why Brad was wearing his wetsuit the other day.

The lightning was a little much. Crappy ending to an otherwise pleasant morning.

Launched before 4:00AM (pier run), landing a little after 10:00AM. Part of the bunch that saw the lightening show, got rained on, and had no luck with the fish. It was actually the least windy day for us in our last 5 trips.
Making good bait won't make much difference until this cold water disappears. It looks like luck will have to be on your side to be the one fortunate enough to hook into the right kind.
Is this June or January?
By the way Arne, Aaron needs glasses.
