I’ll say this. I loved that boat. So roomy and absorbs the waves. Galley was so nice and clean and crew was fantastic. Always makes a trip better when the boat is tip top

Ditmar Hulls are known for riding the waves well, unlike some other hulls that pound the seas. The wooden hulls were built by Seaco in Costa Mesa, a partnership of Ditmar and Donaldson that started after WW2. The Freedom was built in 1961. Its sister boats are the Grande(originally the America) and the Liberty.
