What a Saturday!

I usually don't fish Saturday's, but I'm glad I fished
yesterday. Lots of friendly faces with yellowtails in
their laps. I'm sure the stories will come out.

The amazing thing is this: 74F water!

I got two in a hundred foot of water near some fleeing
bait. The 15lb firecracker fought like hell. But the 25lber
fought longer.

Go get 'em. They're fun!

Yea Yanni, how good are those morning colors!

I have to ask, what rod/reel combo are you using? Almost looks to be a heavy bass rod?

It was a nice day out fersure. Landing on the beach at high tide with the throngs or people was probably the highlight for me.

15 lbs sounds about right for mine too. Good to see you out there, and didn't realize how critical the situation was with my new found friend D.

Congrats Yanni on the yellows. I'm sure you will post some new yummy recipes soon. I hope to have some good fishing mojo tomorrow. Tight Lines, Mark.

Guess I shoulda stayed inside in the fog. Sealions were pesky out at the corner. Did catch over limits on my tan though.

thanks Danny boy!

Here's some on the water shots of Danny learning how to
gut and gill his yellowtail.

Surfisher, that combo is a 7ft Seeker Inshore, Heavy Action coupled with
an Avet MXL 5.8

I can't imagine pulling on heavy fish with light gear. But, Greg Andrews loves it!!
