Not A Kayak Fish Report

I just had to share with my fishing family on Big Water's Edge.

I took a trip out of San Diego on the Outrider with 10 other strangers. It was my second time on this boat and I can't recommend fishing with Jeff and Chappo enough.

Yes Nick, I was that guy yelling at you while you were drop netting by the bait tank Thursday night.

Anyway I hit a life goal and just had to share. This was caught on the kite and two others helped tag team it but I hooked it and spent the first 10 min on the fish and a second round later but boy my arms were noodles after the first round.

A fish that is bigger than I am, this lovely fish was 73 inches long and 256 pounds. The fish was divided evenly between everyone on the boat.
