Let’s open a bottle of wine

And enjoy the sunset.

Here’s the owner now

They are throwing kayak back supports under tires to try and get traction. How about lowering air pressure to about 10 psi?

That’s why I always carry a set of maxtrax, even with a 4x4.

Talking

Almost every time I go to La Jolla if I'm at the launch when it get crowded, there is always at least 1 IDIOT who drives onto the sand to try and make a u-turn. What person with 1/2 a brain would try to turn around on soft sand instead of the asphalt street they had first stopped at before proceeding onto the sand. I gave up helping the IDIOTS on my first year (2013), after having helped at least 7 cars stuck there. Let then pay a tow company. You can't fix STUPID!

How long was he stuck there?

Almost got stuck when I drove too far north on the sand a month or two back. had to air down and work the break with my left foot to get both tires to spin together, but I crawled right out. I would be pretty embarrassed to have to ask someone to pull me out tbh.

I was carrying heavy duty tow straps to pull them out with my truck. Now, I leave them at home.

I got pulled out twice in my 2wd truck by fishing folks. I’ll continue to help other fishing folks in my 4wd. Figure I owe the karma pot.

But yeah, the sedans and boneheads I’ll pass...plus without a tow hitch or tow hooks, you risk damaging their car. No good deed goes unpunished!
