Lots of dolphins in the bay today in Newport Harbor

Curious if anyone knows if there's a reason the dolphins go into the bay. Maybe a shark spooked them or something. It's pretty rare that I see them in the bay, and there were 5-10. Didn't see any out in the ocean though.

Last week I saw dolphins too
Very rare to see but once in a whale I found them inside of bay

I'm not a dolphin psychologist, but I'm fairly certain that dolphins aren't afraid of sharks. Killer whales, maybe. Prolly just cruising in there to make baby dolphins.
