Randy rays?

Out at LJ Saturday morning, heard a lot of splashing behind me and thought it must be a gull or a seal, but instead found these 2 rays splashing around my rudder and circling me. Maybe they thought the black Hobie rudder was attractive (nudge nudge wink wink! )

Edit: No bites of significance, caught a single barred sandbass on a flatfall.

LOL...We get the same kind of behavior with turtles during mating season off Florida.

I had a ray sucking on my bait tank overflow, I figured it was tasting the scales off the anchovies and trying to figure out how to get to them.

I had one hanging out by my chum container on Saturday, also in LJ. Seems there's a lot of them out there right now!
