Dana point 05/26 - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Took a trip up to Dana Point to fish somewhere new launched out of the bay there got bait and went around the corner north. Trolled sardines in 100’ up to about level with salt creek. Then trolled right out side the kelp down to the point. Turned around and went up the beach right outside the surf. Caught to very small White Sea bass. Then trolled south until be blown off by 12mph wind. Used a Carolina rig with 3oz with about three feet of 60lb liter. Still trying to find a leopard shark if anyone wants to join up and look.
