I've only had it out 3x since I got it 6montha ago. Taken to mission bay on Easter for maiden voyage, was fun to just cruise around. Went to Cuyamaca during a storm.... That was brutal but nice being only person on the lake. Then took it to eastern sierras last week. Only got one fish but was very scenic

Thanks I'll look into the phone app. I started mounting the ff last night getting it mocked up and figuring where I want it at, will post pics tonight after work of my slow progress haha. But another question. I went to bps to pick up the yak and didn't see any of the smaller 12v 7-10a battery's there, is there a shop here in sd that carries them? Or should I just do eBay for it. Thanks again

Try OEX in Mission Bay or Newport beach. They can help with any questions or installs you might have. They also sponsor this site and carry or can get most anything you need for your yak.

Welcome. I'll second the fish it before you mount it. Sucks big time to drill holes and get some thing mounted only to discovery its in your paddling path and you're banging it every 3 rd stroke. Mike
