LJ 7-24

YT continued to chew today. Lots of bonita, barracuda, and bass as well. My YT was about 8lbs, i would estimate. Others had multiple fish. Beautiful on the water, although the wind is coming up kind of early.

Very cool, maybe the new moon has something to do with the fish biting the last couple of days. I'm gonna hit the water again on wed. Thanks for the report. :P

Very fishy out there and yet I never saw any bait or boils. I started out going west of the pier. Came across a very small mako finning along. Turned south and found the pesky bait grabbers, boneys? barracuda? yt too small to choke it down. My first YT was a little after Kurt's, 100 yards inside of him. I just ate my Friday YT, last night and planned to release any today, so #1 released. Put out another greenback and on again, thought for sure another lil YT, but ended up being the biggest calico I have caught in a long time....released. Threw the 7X for some BIG barracuda, hooked up again on the mac. This YT is blowing red smoke, so I grabbed it by the tail and found the hook in it's gut, but it must have tore a gill, so #2 came home with me. Kurt and I headed in and I just trolled the bl/w mac 7x. BENDO on the 9 footer. Kurt calls it a cuda and I say "I don't think so" 10-12 pound yt, released. Good fishin, with lots a happy campers on he beach

Com'on Ryan it was on the sabiki rod

Does the formula work out to one F bomb per 3 pounds?

Looking forward to more video!

I had an account to visit within throwing distance, stopped by the launch, felt weird being in my clown uniform and not launching or landing...
Did see one guy land with a FAT yt, will let him post.
Very nice fish, said he also lost a bigger model.
I estimate his tail to be over 25...easy.

Looked beautiful out there, and lots of eye candy on the playa....

Sad to say that was not the fish I caught on the sabiki. I thought it was assumed, but I guess I should add a disclaimer for unedited language. And I think the formula is more exponential, ie expletives go as the square of lbs.

I'll try to get the footage of Joe on his up next.

I wish the 5-7 lb cali's fought half as hard as the 3 lb YT...

Personally, I wasn't that impressed with "the biggest calico that Andy has caught in a long time"...

My camera has too much delay.

I released this one...

and Andy catches it 10 minutes later.
