La Jolla sunday

Luanched about 6 AM or so, out to the grounds and made bait really easy. Crashing bait was everywhere. Trolled around the area for not much, saw a few but none for me. Made my way to the corner slow trolling, my bait was picked up and spat back out once. Go to pin on another and there all dead, WTF?!? Made a quick two more greenbacks and made the turn and trolled back. Half way back my second bait was picked up, a minute later the fish came unbuttoned. So I took my last and biggest bait and pinned him on. This greenback was huge, barely fit in my xfactor tank! Ten seconds after splash down I was hooked up! Towed for a few and he was quickly dispatched and in the hatch. Out of bait and 11:30 I was heading in. Landing was interesting, I usually stash my catch in the center hatch but I had put this one up front. Pearled the yak and, being on this ride once before, quickly hopped off and walked everything in before I rolled and had a yard sale!

Thanks, I've had more times empty handed than not. Still learning, time on the water pays off!
