Stinger hook

I'm having a bit of trouble keeping the stinger treble to stay in on live bait.
I'm hooking from the bottom dorsel through and out of the anus but it wont stay put.

I was using Owner trebles but switched to Mustads because the barb is bigger. I'm having the same problem.

What is the best way?

Same idea, but with a treble. Though you might want to rig up a greenback instead of Pipis, cockles and goolwas.

This is what I do when I set up a stinger hook. The hook on the treble that I will insert into the bait I bend into more of a circle hook style. With it curled around a bit it tends to stay put much better.

Thanks for the tips.

I think bending one of the hooks on the treble will seal the deal.
