With my belly & the refrigerator full of exotics (NOT THE FREEZER)..
it was time to burn the Chatterbait & some of those extra calories..
DieZel Chatterbait w/ 6” SwimmerZ in Bad Shad. I replaced the stock trailer with a larger one & really caught a hit worth releasing. Hooked & fought off the Hobie. Landed on beach to safely remove pretzeled hook in her lip. Quick CPR, and she was off & on her way to the Sardine races…..Wind was a small issue earlier, especially for this one capsized catamaran. As a result & in-between Halibut runs, I would take a break by pitching the docks with a 3/4 oz. skirted weedless Swimjig + a 6” Sexy Mullet SwimmerZ trailer. (Scents applied this day, were ProCure’s Shrimp/Krill formula. The good stink with enhanced color + the UV factor.)
