Transducer mounting

Is anyone running a 3 in 1 Active Imaging transducer on a Hobie that does not have Guardian protection? I currently have a 2017 Pro Angler and I am running a Totalscan transducer with a Berleypro cover. The Totalscan transducer was getting some light scratches so I added the Berleypro cover which protrudes out slightly from hull. This makes for a relatively tight fit when loading the kayak on a flat trailer or truck bed due to the fact that the Berleypro cover is now creating more friction or resistance from touching the floor or bed. Probably putting unnecessary stress on hull of kayak that I don't really want either. Anyways, I would like to upgrade the transducer to the 3 and 1. Has anyone done this on a non-guardian Hobie hull? The 3 in 1 transducer is even thicker than the Totalscan transducer. It is probably not gonna, or be a good idea due to the dimensions of the 3 in 1 transducer. I got this 2017 PA slightly used from Fastlane and have had it for a few years now. Probably a record for me. Whats the going rate for a used Pro Angler these days? Not really in position to fork out 1500$ - 2000$ just so I can upgrade to guardian model kayak. Thanks for any feedback.
