Got a phone call last night to take part in a survey. Took about 10 minutes and they said "Our goal is to help California game fishing to benefit the anglers"

They just asked how many times I went out
The type of Vessel
Private or public launch
Primary and secondary target species
In or out of 3 miles from main land or island
Did you fish mexican waters

Nothing about how many of what was caught or released.

Anyway, just curious. They said very select few were called.

I used to get these all the time. I think I had said yes to participating in a survey... they called me each quarter of the year. Just for survey purposes though...

No, but I got a call from a bill collector asking me all kinds of personal questions. How rude!
