DP Saturday Morning...

First time out in a few months, first time Daddy duties are much more time consuming than anticipated!

Got up early, change a diaper, fed the grom then got some bait at the receiver, mix of chovies and grennies. Rigged up a wire leader just for the hell of it and trolled a mac way outside on the way to the headland. Got with in hundred yards of the point and the clicker goes off. Haven't heard that sound in long time; after 30 some minutes later got this girl to the boat.

With my new found papa instincts kicking in I decided to let this one go, she fought like champ and was grateful for the dance. Threshes are such amazing animals so fluid and powerful; hopefully I get some karma points next time I get down south.

Nice catch. I was out Sunday afternoon and was catching Bonita in that same area.
