Thanks guys. About 80' dropper loop, greenback. Launched and landed from basically in front of vallecitos and no one really blinked. But be warned, it's a long arse walk from the water at low tide

thanks for clarifying that, how much tag line do you have to the sinker? A six in dropper just seems real short to me but that is why I'm still learning. How do you hook your mackerel?

I like between 6"and 1',depends on the drift and how long my leader is. About 2' above 8oz weight in this case
