Congrats Jr. Basser! That had to be a fun fight.

Still waiting for my first thresher.

Enjoy those tasty steaks!

Congrats bro. Sorry about almost taking off the whole tail I offered my assistance with the knife job and I was expecting the knife to stop at the bone... errr, sharks don't have bones, duh! Luckily I stopped with 1/2" to go. Damn filet knife can't cut a YT but is a friggen lightsaber on a shark . Anyway, it was fun being out there today. Learned a few things from watching the guys who know, pretty cool.

I would have raced over a little faster but I knew you were in good hands with Kurt. Congrats on the first T. The little ones taste great, but better not to make a habit of it. Nice job.

nah I'm done with it, enough meat for a while, and the hassel isnt worth it when a yellowtail is easier ;-)

LoL! I just didnt wanna lose my thresher at the boat becuase you cut his tail off and i had to watch the rest sink into the abyss.

I was gonna set my camera up and record it but it was a boring fight to watch im sure. I kinda just sat there with my rod bent.

Nice fish! Glad I could lend a hand. You'll get some nice meals from that fish.
