Big Fish Rick - RIP

Had a visit from Rick's ex-wife, Linda today. Unfortunately, Rick has passed away here in the states due to kidney failure.

He leaves behind Linda and his two sons, Matt and Jordan.

Rick had a place on the East Cape, his son will take over the place, his truck and boat may be brought back to the states.

Services are planned for this Saturday the 15th at LJ Shores at 4:30 between Towers 32 and 33 if pits are available.

Sad to hear. Rick was a super nice guy. It always tripped me out, the day of that squid bite, i had a fish that was half the size of his cow and he came over and seemed to be more stoked for me that I got one, than the fiddy sitting on his deck.

RIP.

I hold out hope that the fish keep biting, here or there. Any ideas on what we as a community can do for his family?

The shot of him on the beach with that monster is one of the classics.

That shot is a classic, he would be very proud that it was shared again.
