Salmon in the central coast

Finally caught a salmon from the yak 9/1. Measured in at 27 inches. Caught on live bait. Caught two miles out in capitola for the local kayakers.

Nice salmon! Wish I could get some of those down here in Southern Cal. Also, that is a sweet looking kayak!

What's up stevoooo yeah I'm never giving up my yak. I just got new fish finder, put a bilge pump and lights. Everything wired with on off switches including the hobie bait tank. This was the first time taking it out after I finished it. I wish we had yellowtail up here though.

yeah a salmon would be nice, last time I caught a salmon was the last big run we had here out of Channel Islands about a hundred years ago...nice fish, "got smoked salmon?'

Hey Leo. I mostly did bass fishing since I was in Orlando. But I did make it to the coast a couple times, caught some reds and one snook. But the bass fishing is insane.
