Ok what did I miss?!?!? Had to take some time off the water for personal reasons.. Now I came back to kayaks peddling backwards, mini torpedo rockets and drama between ground men fighting over about everything/anything..

Can’t wait to start contributing again to the mess!

Installing a kill bag on top the front will restrict the use of the bait tank? I have seen one with custom aluminum rack over the outboard area with bunch of rod holders mandatory 360 light

Because of injuries IÂ’m totally out of the paddle game, no desire to peddle.
I got a 10hp Honda OB at the river w nothing to put it and seriously considering a solo to dick around on for shits and giggles. This would probably be fun as shit to run down the river to Havasu and cruise the chanel etc.
Can you cruise these things w a passenger or dog? Kick me in the nuts. I appreciate any feedback. Thanks

I wonder what Mitchell's thoughts would be if someone complaining that he is posting his canoe-a-yak-a-boat fishing reports on this kayaking forum.

Talking

They are almost here. It's been a very long over 2 months waiting. I, like some started looking at this thread when it first went up. I already had an interest in the Solo Skiff, after having fished LJ with a Solo out there moving from spot to spot and wished I could cover so much water in minutes that would take me all day. After re-posting my2016 Hobie Revo 13 on Craig's and it selling in two days, I now had the money to start the process. I called Brent at OEX San Diego and put in my deposit. I got in early on the wait list that has grown at what I think is a crazy for just one dealer. Now this thread has over 5300 views. AWESOME The inputs and banter on this thread has the feeling off the old days of fun and fish catch posts. What's different is this doesn't even have any fish porn posted on the thread.

Your damn right! I cant wait, already have a few days ready to take off work and troll the coast and big bay for the initial 10hr break in, then its on like donkey kong!

Damn 5k views, never even paid attention to that, pretty cool though, but whats cooler is the 25+ and growing with deposits down already! Should be fun grouping up with a pack of Solos and charging the 9.

I feel the same way. All the new kayaks and such. And to think we used to use regular old non fishing kayaks with a milk crate and 5 gallon bucket. Lol

I think your still good for 07/6 time frame, I had my deposit in since 04/16.

If anything 5 people who were going to have to wait till end of July might get theirs a few weeks earlier now.
