BAJA or BUST, Asuncion November 2014

Asuncion WAS awesome, with two days driving each way it needs to be a 10-12 day trip. Anyone interested in doing this trip in 2014, around Thanksgiving please let me know, as this is their busiest time of the year, and we would need to book the San Roque house soon. The last two years the weather has been fantastic the first part of January but that is not the norm. October, November are almost always great weather AND fishing. Yes it is a two 1/2 mile paddle to the island, but if you want a shorter paddle you can launch in Asuncion and only have a 1 mile paddle to a different island that is full of calicos. Seems to be more and bigger YT at San Roque island and it is more remote so fewer people and less fishing pressure. Anyone interested in doing this trip, please contact me by PM or Post. Need to decide if there is enough interest in this trip and WHEN you want to go. Before Thanksgiving, for the Holiday or after it? Should be three or more vechicles to keep it safe. Let's get this trip CONFIRMED before April. Thanks.

I'm in, but:

I'm in for this trip as long as it does not conflict with hunting season. That usually the last week of October and the first two weeks of November.
Note: If I go I will be camping outside so don't put me down for the house.
Looking forward to another great trip.

Sven did suffer from alergies inside the house but not outside, and Ross did a 2X PB on YT, 37 and 43+ lbs. This year, hoping to break 50, pounds not Years.

Should not be a proiblem, Jeff is trying to get set up for it also, I too can camp out as there is plenty of room, but want to secure the house for cooking and eating as that works out really well. Sven said anytime after the 11th works for him. As before there will be 4 beds available inside and room for tents outside if you want them, me I think the cot under the stars should be good, maybe a tarp if it dews. We are close enough to take a side trip if we want to Abreojos it's estero or Turtle bay.
