Extreme Kayak Fishing Tournament - Summer Slam 1 2022

Next weekend, June 4th is Extreme Kayak Fishing Tournaments Summer Slam 1. The earlier summer slam tournaments have historically been better for big King Mackerel, and Blackfin Tuna. The weather for fishing this May has been horrible but is shaping up well for June 4th.

On account of Covid, the last two years had just one Summer Slam, so it's good to see Extreme resume the second summer tournament.

According to my wife, those are fake fish because they don't sag in the middle and aren't dripping juice! It looks like a lot of fun to me.

Due to inclement weather, the tournament is officially pushed back a day to 5 June 2022. Captain's meeting is still set for tomorrow, June 2nd.
