Awesome Fish!!!

Beautiful fish!!! Congratulations (I recommend not dropping your knife jig on a mark Josh points out at 90 ft if you dont want a by-catch like that)

As far as where and how you post, your call brother (I may have waited till monday as a courtesy to other kayakers.... but it helps that I am out of town and the PBers wont be trying to run me over) and never mind that your favorite (and mine for that matter...Josh is AMAZING) fishing expert recently posted a thread asking for discretion when posting....awesome fish and you should be proud, post away.

Nice to finally meet you the other day, that fish is just as impressive in person.

The private boaters have plenty to shoot for currently with the UT reporting the great Yellowtail bite just north of Todas Santos. I agree that is good to post on BWE to give Josh the credit he deserves for sharing his knowledge with us but I personally don't see the point in posting on BD to bring more PBer's into our limited spear of influence. My suggestion is to posts only for folks that can truely appreciate your efforts and triumphs. !!

The Yellowtail bite at Todos is over. Something about our overnight fleet fishing in a Mexican "reserve" and a mexican naval escort out of the area. Sounds like the overnight guys pissed off the locals by going where they knew they shouldnt. They got the boot yesterday and you can see how the counts dropped today. Poor suckers who are on those boats tommorow are gonna be thinking they missed the bite.

Hope this doesnt ruin the Nados, that would really hurt LJ once things get going.

Gentlemen start your engines

A little busy this morning. Webcam lineup at 6:30 included 11 vehicles and 2 skiffs.

sellout ?

Those yellows have been coming in to the corner in the evening like clockwork for over a week, sometimes there was two or three pb'ers and a couple kayaks on the bite.... Last night there was over 40 boats out there, and like someone pointed out earlier most of them where guys who did not have the gear or experience to get out to the nados.

Hey on the the brighter side....at least there's alot of guys on that other site who owe you one right?

Nice fishing with ya', Sherm.

That Yellowtail's a freakin' Toad!...you kicked her a$$, too!

And thanks for keeping an open mind when the conditions didn't look quite right for White Sea Bass. At least we had some fun while waiting for the appropriate conditions to present themselves. The current was ripping and it was windy as hell...can only imagine your view of things from the Fish N' Dive .

I can't think of a better way to pass time...ten foot Super Seeker, a.k.a. The Arm Breaker!

No matter how many you catch, seeing that bright yellow tail at color...never gets old!

She didn't move a muscle while smiling for the camera. I told her thanks for the ride and sent her back to school.

Conditions for White Sea Bass improved slightly in the afternoon. While short on time, we made a move. I knew Sherm had his share of paddling for the day...and then some. His arms were moving like a windmill, but that Fish N' Dive apparently has two speeds: ridiculously slow and reverse . All joking aside, that's a great kayak (stable as hell), but when the river-like current is doing it's thing...not ideal. I'll admit I'm bias, though.

And most of all, thanks for not going Nancy Carrigan on me when I finally made the decision to drop a bait in the water.

Next time I will bring more than half a sandwich to last me the day. And you right Josh. That FnD sucks during that downhill ripping current.
