Tape?

Just curious. I see a lot of you guys wearing tape on your fingers, I'm sure it's because of the braided line. Is there any specific type of tape you use?

It's called self adhesive bandages. Get 1" or 2". Here's a little tip, if you have flex spending through work, bandages are FSA covered.

If its just for knots try making some knot sticks with pvc and shrink tubing. Ive noticed some need it and some dont. I have never needed tape. But my hands are pretty beat up to begin with. I have braid on my long rod and if i forget to toss some water on it I sometimes get burned.

Flex-wrap. Expensive at the tackle store, cheap at the veterinary supply store.

Don't buy it at the tackle store or the vet supply, yes, it's the same stuff, but you won't get FSA reimbursement (if you are concerned about that). The stuff at CVS is cheap stuff so you need the medical grade stuff (Amazon) that will stick on your fingers all day and not slip off.
