FoodSaver!

If you don't have a Foodsaver, now is a good time to get one.

Here is the current ad link: http://www.foodsaver.com/on/demandwa...-Total-Savings

If you're going to spend that much money do yourself a favor and buy a vacuum chamber sealer instead. I bought the Vacmaster VP 112, its an awesome unit. You can buy 1000 bags to seal all of your goodies for less than you'd pay for a tank of gas.

Yep exactly. Ive had my VP215 for over 2 years now and couldnt imagine going back to a crappy vacuum sealer.

I have the VP215 as well and yes it's expensive...but in the long run it's not. Better quality cheaper bags, and commercial quality results...maybe even better than commercial quality because you have control over it. The foodsaver is an...ok machine...but if you want to seal lots of fish at once and preserve them over long periods of time then the chamber sealers are the way to go.

Yes, I read these recommendation here on this board a while back, and bought the model 215 vacmaster.

My wife said I was crazy, but she is happy now.
The machine works GREAT !

I almost bought a foodsaver in my local Costco, I am glad I didn't.

I'm confused....... Why do you and George both have one instead of just sharing??? I thought you two lived together in a cozy little 1 bedroom apartment above Busybee.
