Bump to 5 years later and Mr. Barnicoat still is paddling and slaying.

Crazy to read these old threads. Lots of people still here, some fell off, and some not with us anymore RIP.

Cheers Everyone!

Not my first yellowtail but my first yellowtail on the iron. I'll never forget the feeling of reeling up as fast as I could and then all the sudden the reel stops and line starts ripping the other direction.

Just as Yani said in the video the fish was devoured by friends, family and coworkers multiple sushi parties over the weekend. My favorite is to do a buffet style of hand rolls and I'm working on my nigiri skills. It's hard to beat fresh yellowtail sushi.

Wow, good times and great friends.

Kayak fishermen and fisherwomen are the best types of people.

So much learned over the years.

LOL, Mikey went from that yak, to a Hobie, to a Solo in a very quick time.

Wait until you see Mikey new catch video hopefully out soon, congrats bro
