Kayak accident in HB - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

My dad went for a surf first thing this morning down in Huntington Beach and the police and coroner were out on the sand. He said they had a body covered up next to an orange kayak. My dad's a pretty respectful guy so didn't do much snooping to find out the details or see what was on the boat so I don't know if the guy was fishing or what, but I did get a "You better be careful out there" phone call from him immediately following. Pretty huge bummer, someone/some family is sitting at home destroyed right now.

Does anybody know the details on this? I tried doing a google news search but came up empty.

That blows! Hope it wasn't boat to kayaker accident.

Many prayers will be extended to this family. We all need to remember to be safe and to keep all of our safety gear in check.
