Yak buggin and bassin 1/19/09 - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Went out with my pops spyder, sherm, and nunya for some hopes of gettin some lobsters. Launched around 6:15 pm with great conditions on the water, very calm like a lake. Dropped our hoops around 7:10 and it was pretty slow at first for me. Sherm got a nice pot full of shorts and a massive rockcrab and I beleive 1 legal. Nunya got a nice pot full of real close clickers on her last pull of the night, but they werent legals, damn. My dad got some shorts,1 legal and some nice crabs along with some sugar bass (rockfish) and 2 calicos on the GULP! Ended up with 2 legals, 5 shorts, a nice size rock crab, a bass trifecta ( spotty, cali, sandy), and a few rockfish on the the plastics. Great night on the water with some good yak buddies.
