Found Mirage Drive

Anybody take a spill at La Jolla recently and not fess up to it?
Fished LJ today for nada.
On the launch some divers asked if I had lost some peddles, because they found a pair. After I told them it wasn't mine, they said they were just going to sell them on e-bay. I suggested that they should post it up as lost and found on one of these boards before they sell it. They insisted "finders keepers". I know how much they cost and they did not have a clue, so I offered them $60 for them.
If someone reading this lost these peddles, pay me my $60 back, and they are yours. They have the turbo fins that looked brand new, and couldn't have been under for very long.
I'll probably let this post sit for a month. If no one claims them, I'll sell them later for more.
BTW, You can make an inexpensive leash for your peddles for less than 5 bucks

I've been think about upgrading to the turbo fins. If no one claims this drive, please let me know.

BTW, I concur with the Holy one. What you did was a class act.

I believe Josh Pruitt had a client lose a drive unit recently while landing.
-Maybe its theirs.

Yep, I was coming in one morning while Josh was snorkeling the area for them, probably happened about 3 weeks ago. I sent him the link to this.

Wow that's great!!! My buddy Jay recently lost a set down there. He doesn't do the message board thing, but I'm sure he'd be more then happy to give you what you paid for them. Is there any way you could ship them as he's up here in LA. I'll be down fishing in the next few days so I could probably pick them up for him if shipping them would be a problem.

Jim

Added: I just talked to Jay on the phone and he said he'll gladly pay you what you paid and any shipping. Very cool of you to post this. Jay's kinda new to kayaking, and he was pretty bummed out about the drive. You just made his day!!!
