White Shark or Mako

Looks like a huge Mako to me but I'm no expert. This was yesterday on a whale watching boat.

big mako. look at how blue it is and that big forward eye. a white would be more grey and although have big eyes, they look smaller compared to the mass of a whites face.

edit, says 4.5 miles out. sweet!

Too much blue on the body and the fin is very Mako shaped.

and the nostril also says mako. the only thing white shark about it is the thrashing back and forth, sawing through the meat. every mako i've ran across usually just tries to gulp down whatever it is
