Stop by the fish market today. ;)

Late start this morning. Got on the water around 6:45 and made my way to the kelp. Bait was a little challenging but managed to make 7-8 pieces by 8. (spanish mac only)
Worked my way south and out about 120-140 ft of water. picked up a small yellow, tried to release it but some how knocked his head against my kayak and was instant death. Continued on for another couple hours, few annoying sea lions and HH stealing my bait. Finally picked up a better grade YT and headed back to the barn. In-laws visiting from the mid west, I don't think they've ever had YT, they're excited. Water temps today 74-75, easy in and easy out. Plenty of fish out there still, go get them!

After I bled it, I covered it with a wet t-shirt periodically pouring water over it. The tail was a little exposed. Went straight to ice in large cooler sitting in my truck.
