Fishing with friends tournament DP 4-20

Anybody know what the winning catch was over at Dana point Kayak for the tournament? I showed up around 645 and paid my ante but wasn't able to produce much. Had a 11" calico a 13" sandie and brown rockfish by 9am but then the tide died and it just shut off for me. By 11 all my bait was dead and I was outta water/beer on the yak so I called it a early day. Talked to a guy that had a sand bass about 15" which was more than enough to beat me but seem pretty slow overall. Anyways, just wondering how it ended?

i fished dp today for my new yaks maiden voyage. Didnt get to pop my kayaks cherry today cuz i didnt have the right baits, but it seemed super slow all around. Definetly not a good day, but still a fun day.

Yea, the bait barge only had anchovies. I had planned on hunting halibut but backed out after I couldn't get any sardines. Hope your maiden voyage was enjoyable, and I'm sure you'll get that skunk off board on your next outing.

The winning fish was a halibut and the biggest bass was a 2lb+ Calico. It was very slow out there Saturday.
