30+ Miles 25+ hours on the water in 2 days ToadsToadsOnly

After getting some intel from my buddy Jim about a month and a half ago I set out to the motherland on Sat peddled for about 15 miles and struck out on the yellows. I knew there were fish around and it was just a slow day so I went back on Sunday with Jim to try my luck out ended up getting my first and second yellow stripe for the year. Both of these homegaurds were mean and whooped my butt.

Close to 30 miles peddling and over 25 hours on the water in 2 days I was exhausted however I would do it again any other weekend.

Only bad part is I have no clue how much they weighted they pretty damn heavy though.

Thumbs up Pure Awesomeness

Your fishing endurance is unbelievable man, I would've packed up and went home. Nice yellows and I can see why patience pays off too bad my patience runs thin.

Thanks everyone, I have been trying to replicate that bite ever since that day with no avail. Fishing La Jolla is like a love hate relationship I love that place because it is the Mecca of kayak exotics but I hate that place due to all of the work and skunks I have to put in.

Here is an update the water teps are right about 64 I have never seen so much bait fish out there it sounds like it is raining since there are so many mac's surfacing.

The fish were caught on the Iron, rockfish are still plentiful out there, one thing about La Jolla every single day is different. They might bite for 3 days straight then go quit for 3 days. The best thing to do when wondering if they are biting is go out and try your luck you never know. Good luck out there.
