DP 07-16/17 - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Got some time to fish this weekend.

Saturday took the PA17 out to DP. Bait was very nice, sardines, 4-5 inches. Water was green outside the harbor and +/-74 degrees. Lots of birds working outside but didn't get bit. Hit up some of the usual spots and caught a few short Calicos. Moved in closer to the beach and managed a couple of keeper sized bass along with missing some nice hits.

Sunday, took my neighbor and his two boys out in the boat. Same bait, same water temp but it was much cleaner. Managed to put them on some Calicos and even a couple of small WSB.

$20 for kayak, $35 for 1/2 scoop on the boat.
