Well the problem is I have not mounted it yet as I might be going to the dark side and wait to have the new unit installed on it. Need to test drive the 2015's

Seems like almost all I see in all the new yaks are hobies. I agree that sometimes it would be nice to have the hands free while holding your position against the current. Then I like the work out I get paddling and the better maneuverability in turning the yak around or being able to go into the kelp forest. I am not sure my leg could take the constant pedaling for hours with the knee replacement I had. Good luck on your new choice in yaks. See you out there soon in whatever you take out Chris.
